Why Write for travelchasm.com?

We believe great travel writing deserves a great platform. Here’s what you get when you contribute to travelchasm.com:

1. Reach a Targeted, Engaged Audience travelchasm.com attracts readers who are actively planning trips, comparing destinations, and looking for trusted recommendations. Your article won’t sit in a void — it reaches real travelers who are ready to act.

2. A Permanent Author Bio With Your Link Every accepted article includes a dedicated author bio section where you can introduce yourself and link to one website of your choice. This is a meaningful, contextual link from an established travel content site.

3. Editorial Support and Feedback Our editorial team reviews every submission carefully. If your draft needs adjustments before it’s ready to publish, we’ll tell you exactly what needs to change and why — not just reject it with a form response.

5. Be Part of a Growing Travel Community travelchasm.com is building one of the most trusted travel content platforms for the US audience. By contributing, you become part of that story — credited, recognized, and respected as a voice in the travel space.

Topics We Accept

We publish content across all five of our core travel categories. If your article idea fits into one of the following topics, we want to hear from you:

Beaches Articles about the best beaches in the United States and around the world, beach travel tips, what to pack for a beach vacation, hidden beaches, family-friendly beach destinations, and seasonal beach guides.

Hotels Hotel reviews, hotel comparison guides, tips for booking hotels on a budget, luxury hotel experiences, boutique hotel guides, and destination-specific hotel roundups.

Resorts All-inclusive resort guides, family resorts, adults-only resort roundups, spa and wellness resorts, beachfront resort reviews, and tips for getting the most value from resort stays.

Luxury Travel Guides to luxury travel destinations, first-class and business-class travel tips, private villa stays, luxury cruise experiences, high-end travel planning, and trends in premium travel experiences.

Honeymoon Destinations Romantic destination guides, honeymoon planning tips, honeymoon on a budget, all-inclusive honeymoon packages, best islands for honeymoons, and destination-specific honeymoon itineraries.

If your article idea sits at the intersection of two categories — for example, a luxury beach honeymoon destination — that works well too.

Topics We Do NOT Accept

To maintain the quality and focus of travelchasm.com, we will not publish content in the following categories:

  • General lifestyle content with no direct travel connection
  • Hiking, camping, or adventure sports content (outside a beach or resort context)
  • City event roundups or local neighborhood guides
  • Content focused outside of the travel vertical (food blogs, fashion, fitness, etc.)
  • Articles targeting audiences outside of the USA without also addressing US-based travelers
  • Opinion pieces or rants without practical travel value
  • Content about visa processes, immigration, or relocation
  • Anything that promotes illegal activities, endangers travelers, or makes unverifiable safety claims
  • Articles based entirely on AI-generated text or plagiarized from other sources

If you’re unsure whether your topic qualifies, send a brief pitch to info@travelchasm.com and we’ll let you know before you write the full article.

Contributor Guidelines

Please read these guidelines in full before submitting. Articles that do not follow these requirements will be declined without review.

Word Count

  • Minimum: 1,000 words
  • Preferred: 1,500 to 2,500 words
  • Longer is not always better. Every word must earn its place. Do not pad your article with filler sentences to hit a word count.

Structure and Formatting

  • Use H2 subheadings to break your article into clear sections
  • Use H3 subheadings for sub-sections within a major section where appropriate
  • Keep paragraphs short — no more than 3 to 4 sentences each
  • Use bullet points or numbered lists where they improve clarity
  • Include a clear introduction that tells the reader what they will learn
  • End with a concise conclusion or a practical call to action
  • Do not use bold text excessively — only bold the most critical pieces of information

Tone and Target Audience

travelchasm.com is written for a US-based general audience of travel enthusiasts. Our readers range from first-time vacationers to seasoned luxury travelers. Write in a warm, confident, informative tone — as if you’re giving advice to a trusted friend who’s planning their next trip. Avoid jargon, excessive superlatives, and vague statements. Be specific, practical, and honest.

Originality and No-AI Policy

travelchasm.com enforces a strict no-AI-generated content policy.

Every article submitted to travelchasm.com must be written by a human being. We do not accept articles written by, generated by, or substantially assisted by AI writing tools including but not limited to ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai, Writesonic, or any similar tools.

We use AI detection tools as part of our editorial review process. If your submission registers as AI-generated or heavily AI-assisted, it will be declined immediately and your email address may be blocked from future submissions.

This policy exists because our readers trust travelchasm.com to provide genuine human experience and perspective. AI cannot replicate authentic travel experience, local knowledge, or honest personal opinion — and our audience can tell the difference.

If you used AI for any part of your writing process — including brainstorming, outlining, or editing — please disclose this in your submission. Undisclosed AI use will result in permanent rejection.

Accuracy and Sourcing Rules

Travel information changes. Prices fluctuate, visa requirements shift, and resort amenities get updated. Your article must be accurate at the time of submission.

  • Do not state specific prices unless you link to an active source confirming that price
  • Do not state visa or entry requirements without citing an official government source
  • Cite credible sources for any statistics, rankings, or comparative claims — for example, the US Travel Association, World Tourism Organization, official tourism boards, or reputable travel publications
  • Do not make claims about a hotel, resort, or destination that you cannot personally verify or cite
  • If your article includes a “best of” list, include a brief explanation of why each item was selected

Articles containing unverifiable or potentially outdated factual claims will be returned for revision before publication.

Link Policy

travelchasm.com has a clear and non-negotiable link policy:

  • Author bio link: You may include one link in your author bio to your personal website, travel blog, or professional profile
  • No links in the article body: We do not accept articles that include links to external websites, blogs, or businesses within the article text itself
  • No affiliate links: Do not include affiliate links, referral links, commission links, or any link that generates income for you within the article
  • No promotional links: Do not link to products, services, brands, or companies in the body of the article under any circumstances
  • Internal links to other travelchasm.com content may be added by our editorial team during the review process

Submissions that include body links will be returned for editing. Submissions that include disguised affiliate or promotional links will be declined and marked as spam.
